Insomnia?

Insomnia... again.

My Insomnia that I had honestly thought was gone for good has returned.
But maybe im better off that way, because id rather not experience the nightmares that have been haunting me as of late.

why cant i just have a normal, and happy existence? the thought makes ma laugh.
After all, since when has normal been any fun?

Poem - Lament of the Damned

Whispers of your name...
A lingering past...

A watchful eye-
Protective to the last...

Wrong was your betrayal,
The truth behind the lies...

Under the moonlight,
You'll meet your just demise...

The one you damned with your deceit-
Who gave his life for your own...

He will rise once again,
And for your deeds you will atone...

The one he had protected...
in another life...

Will be the last to fall,
To his vengeful knife.

Poem - Who?

who are my friends?
who should i fear?
who do i trust?
who do i keep near?

who do i follow?
who do i lead?
who's heart is hollow?
who gives guidance i need?

who's path have i chosen?
who cannot return?
who's head will stuggle?
who's heart will burn?

who's mind is dark?
who's will is brittle?
who's lost their spark?
who means so little?

who has conformed
who has rebelled
who is worthy?
who has excelled?

who do you see?
who is a reflection?
who differs from many?
who is perfection?

who do i care for?
who lives to be free?
who is lost forever?
who cares about me?

who are the people?
who's lies are true?
who lives for the
moment?
WHO ARE YOU??

Poem - Existence

My heart burns with rage... my soul is torn in two.

Soon my spirit flys, my despair is true

I have cried for many, and many have been slain.

My tears will drown your sorrow, my
cries will heal your pain.

I give my life to the innocent, those i've never known

For ever will i wander, on this road i walk
alone.

Poem - Unconditional

~unconditional~

Put a blade to my heart,
But know that ill not die.

Please tell me that you love me,
Please look me in the eye.

My eyes hide the teardrops,
My smile is a ruse

Every painful word you speak,
Leaves another bruise.

My love is unconditional,
I take Your pain as my own.

I look back and reminisce
How much we have grown.

And if you hate me,
it is a feeling i cannot return

For never will I think it,
To hate you is to burn.

My love keeps me true,
in every promise that i start.

Even if you kill me,
I promise to keep you in my heart

Poem - Shadows

Beyond the void
Emotionless chains
severed bonds
Empty veins

Hopeless Dreams
Disconsolate Reminder
Begrudged Crossing
Malevolent Binder

Downward spiral
Vexating yearning
Unmasked border
Quietly burning

Faceless sorrow
Unclouded Woes
Outlined directions
Unsung Foes

Lost in the world
Of my own creation
Where Darkness haunts
Without hesitation

To understand one's self -- The 5 Laws that I Live by.

What is in a name?

The laws we set for ourselves

Some people stumble into the paths they follow. Most Choose to follow the path most often trodden. Few will follow a less taken path. Fewer still will make their own.

I find it intriguing that so many will strive to be like everyone else. They work towards achieving the same goals, or they compete over them. Why can't people set their own goals... To ignore what society tells us and choose for ourselves what defines right and wrong.

Of course we have political laws that govern that for us, however they strictly pertain to criminal action, and of course any political law would be designated for politics. These written laws we follow are to a point rightly established, Under the assumption that they are implemented accordingly to their original designs.

Morality... These laws aren't imposed by any governing body. The laws we personally follow are ours to choose. Because of this, I find it most curious that so often someone will ignore their own laws. They will designate an understanding within themselves and then shatter it in a single action of defiance towards their own commitment. I also find it strange that when we have the power to create our own list of internal justice and morals, we so readily accept those thrust upon us by others. No we don't accept them, we seek them from the beginning.

If we cannot live by the laws we ourselves create, what hope do we have to follow those imposed by others? Perhaps there is a difference in disobeying a rule set by one's self to always tell the truth versus a law stating not to steal... however the concept remains a solid basis. If one can so easily break their own ideal rules, they can just as easily break societies ideal laws.
